Working on copywriting for web designers is so much fun because these clients already know the ropes to creating an interactive, effective site, they just need some creative copywriting to hone it in.
Katie and I actually have an amazing referral network. I work with a lot of her web design clients on their copywriting and it’s one of my favorite things. We call each other, “business besties,” although that’s not totally a term that I’m in love with. (Katie, we need to brand ourselves together better!)
After writing the copy for a couple of Katie’s clients, she asked me to help write her website copy. I was thrilled.
Katie founded The Kate Collective to guide other creatives with branding and website design. She works with a wide range of creatives within the wedding industry — that includes photographers, wedding planners, florists and more. For this project, I helped Katie refine her website copy, and use SEO to allow her readers to find her services in a much quicker fashion. Katie’s website was already designed beautifully on Showit, so I was excited to help add some engaging copy!
