This videography website design, long after it was completed, continues to leave us speechless. For a business, that makes all the difference and is the goal with every project — to last and create an impact.

With this 2024 videography website design, complete with Salted SEO copywriting, this luxury wedding videographer achieved the hard-to-balance goal of a gorgeously minimal look and feel, but with copywriting that still gets the message across.

The story behind this videography website design

We first met Mark Yeattes after he found us through a referral from a friend (who is a past client of ours!). We were just days into the 2024 new year and Mark was feeling the momentum that comes with that unique time. And with Mark approaching 8 years in business, the website was overdue for a refresh. His portfolio was already top-notch, but the presentation and copy on the website didn’t align with his current working style and perspective.

Most importantly, Mark’s old website put a lot of focus on his team, but this watered down Mark’s expertise and the fact that he still works directly with each couple.

The results

  • A website that establishes authority in the destination marketplace (we’ve seen Mark in Newport, Cape Cod and Lake Como since launching!)
  • An understanding from clients that Mark has the support of a team, but that he is the expert and heart of the brand
  • A videography website design that lets Mark do a lot of the talking, with copy that fits right in

The flavor

We set a brand tone before starting each project. The overall feel for Mark was to come across as minimal, but impactful.

1. Laid Back

2. Inviting

3. Straightforward

The recipe

  1. Establish authority in the destination marketplace to book weddings in coveted locations.
  2. Keep the website minimal and streamlined without losing the overall impact of a strong brand voice. Invite clients in rather than overwhelming them with information.
  3. Settle back into a luxury brand with the support of a team, and not with focus on associates.
